Guidelines
In the interest of children, parents are requested to ensure that students carry only the
appropriate books to school. Please pack bags according to the time-table and avoid unnecessary items.
- Check that only the relevant books for each subject are packed.
Kindly label all belongings with the student’s name and class. If items are misplaced, the rightful owner can be easily traced.
Students must be punctual at all times. If a student is late to school, a note from the parent should be written in the school diary.
Modifications to the school uniform are not allowed. The uniform must be in accordance with the prescribed design and specifications.
Girls
Hair should be kept short or neatly tied with white ribbons.
Boys

Any article found on the premises will be kept safely in the school office. Students who have lost an item should contact the office as early as possible.
It is the responsibility of the child to take care of materials supplied to him/her and keep them safe.
- Lack of respect for school property or stationery will not be taken lightly.
- No student should damage school property in any way—this includes scratching or spoiling desks or chairs, damaging furniture or fixtures, writing or drawing on walls, or damaging others’ belongings.
- Any damage caused, even by accident, should be reported at once to the class teacher.
- Damage will have to be compensated by the student responsible. If more than one person is involved, the cost will be shared by the group.
- Litter must be disposed of in the dustbins provided.
Classroom learning depends greatly on attentive listening and concentration.
- Do not allow noise or friends to distract your attention.
- Ask questions and get doubts clarified immediately.
- Note down main ideas and write brief summaries.
- Keep an open mind and be sensitive to the speaker’s point of view.
To ensure the best for your ward, close cooperation between parents and the school is essential.
In addition to periodic circulars, the school diary serves as a convenient channel of two-way communication between parents and teachers.
- Please check the diary every day to ensure that assigned homework is completed. Teachers will communicate through this handbook—your prompt attention to their remarks is very important.
- Maintain regular study hours at home to build strong study habits.
- Pay special attention to personal cleanliness and hygiene.
- Parents/guardians/relatives are not allowed to see students or meet teachers during school hours without prior permission of the Principal. Do not contact teachers directly.
- As your ward grows, guide him/her to become a responsible member of the family and community—making one’s own bed, polishing shoes, and similar habits cultivate dignity of work, a key virtue for success in life.
